Wedding Inspiration for couples wanting modern and unique styling

Today's blog features inspirational imagery from a recent styled wedding photoshoot I styled at The Old Parish Rooms in July of this year. The shoot organiser Laura, owner of a beautiful old school house now wedding and events venue in Rayleigh, Essex wanted to inspire couples who have booked or are thinking of booking so we held the shoot on the venue's open day.

The Old Parish Room caters for couples wanting to hold civil or humanist ceremonies and intimate wedding receptions in a unique and alternative blank canvas venue. Its quirky features including vintage chapel chairs and feature festoon chandelier are just some of the venue's attractions.

Recommended Wedding Suppliers

Being a recommended supplier, means I am trusted to get creative and try new ideas for styling the venue. It means I can try out new props and ideas and inspire others through my creative endeavours. Heidi, owner of Made You Look Flowers, a wedding and events florist based in Westcliff on Sea suggested the colour palette. Myself and Victoria owner of Pinkface Cakes based in Hockley, got to work to create a design for the shoot. Laura arranged models, hair and make up artists gurus Bridal Hair by Jennie and Katie Poole MUA and finally clothing for our model couple from Rock the Frock Bridal, Essex and ASOS.

The Styling

Everything came together beautifully on the day; the props, the florals, the colour palette and cake styling, all coordinating and complementing each other to create a cohesive wedding design. The team styled two guest tables, the ceremony mezzanine and created a backdrop /styled cake display behind the tables featuring floor to ceiling draping, a floral installation, neon sign and disco balls.

The show stopping cake a top a display plinth was centre of the styled area surrounded by a collar of meadow flowers, a unique LED neon sign and accessorised with mirror balls. A unique multi arm candle centrepiece styled with beautiful brass necked bud vases and pretty Candleflair candles give

The Photographs

The photographs were expertly captured by Lottie Photography, who made the model couple relaxed and at ease. She gave brilliant direction achieving creatively playful shots with plenty of smiles.
