In The Round - Cake Hoop Stand

Updated: Jun 7, 2020

Elegant Cake Hoop Circular Wedding Cake Stand

I'm very excited to share this post with you. After a month of collaborations with some of my favourite wedding suppliers on styled wedding shoots, celebrations and events, open days and venue showcases, I am ready to launch my one of my newest and exciting wedding hire products and include a special introductory hire offer for the month of April 2019, read on below.

Anyone who has been following my styling portfolio on Instagram will have noticed how much I love to style a dessert station, cake table or buffet table as well as how I love to combine my props, cakes and flowers to create dessert stations to remember!

I decided to add a double hoop wedding cake stand to my hire collection so I can offer styling for more celebrations involving amazing cakes like the watercolour brushed four tier wedding cake from Pinkface. If you are looking to make a feature of your wedding cake or dessert station at your celebration, this cake hoop is the cake stand for you.

The twin hoop cake stand is all that you would imagine it to be, and more. It consists of two giant hoops joined at the top, 1.2m in diameter, with a large base. It is designed to frame up to 90 cm tall or four to five tiers of sugary deliciousness, with or without a cake stand. The hoops are brilliant gold and complement all wedding colour schemes and styling themes. The double hoops can be covered in greenery and flowers, either partially or completely.

Above is a photograph by www.laura-janephotography.com showing just how show stopping this cake hoop stand can look. It obviously helps if your cake maker is the truly fantastic Pinkface, who takes cake artistry and finesse to a whole other level.

I chose to feature the cake hoop display at The Rose Barn for The Warren Estate's Venue Showcase earlier this month. I asked The Botanical Shed to add fresh flowers to the display. Louise chose not one but three different ideas for decorating the dessert station with flowers. The vintage dresser drawers were filled with beautiful roses, ranunculus and a variety of different greenery, cut glass bud vases were filled with delicate blooms and an arch arrangement adorned the forward facing hoop.

How delicious do these sweet treats from Pinkface look? A variety of mini cake stands in different heights and materials were used to display the mini cakes, iced biscuits and macarons. I chose coloured candles and made co-ordinating hand dyed silk ribbons to carry the colour scheme through. Props and decor items available to hire from both Pinkface and Party Squared.

As you can see from above, we stood the tiered wedding cake on a stand directly on the cake hoop stand. However, the cake hoop could be used behind the wedding cake as a circular backdrop. The hoop large enough to be completely covered in flowers, just like a full sized moon gate flower arch, whilst still leaving room for the cake to be seen in full. It will fit on a standard 4ft, 5ft or 6ft rectangular or round table or can be displayed on our vintage dresser or hairpin leg school desk.

Do you love it?

We have two sizes available for hire. 1.2m and 90cm.
